Bay Area Disc announces the second annual Bay Area Bash, to be held at the Tom Bates Sports Complex, 400 Gilman St, Berkeley, CA July 7 & 8 2012. This will be a USA Ultimate sanctioned tournament and part of the 2012 USAU club regular season. All participating teams must complete a USA Ultimate roster for this event and all players must be have a current USAU membership, including dues and signed waiver, in order to play.

Up to 20 co-ed teams
Pool play Saturday, Bracket play Sunday
3 games guaranteed Saturday, 2 games Sunday
Fields located in Berkeley, CA on Gilman St.
Entry fee $350
Deposit of $100 required by June 1 to secure a bid

Bay Area Disc is proud to host the Bay Area Bash to provide an additional opportunity for teams inside and out of the Bay Area to play a high-level, USA-sanctioned tournament during the club season. 

The mission of Bay Area Disc is to foster good sportsmanship by teaching and providing opportunities to play the amateur sport of Ultimate (also known as "ultimate frisbee") throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We believe that Ultimate's spirit of good sportsmanship, in which players self-officiate, can provide a model for individual and social responsibility. We focus on promoting the growth of Ultimate amongst adults and youth while simultaneously raising funds for nonprofit organizations in the communities it serves. Bay Area Disc was founded in 2008.
